(WWBT) - Aspen Foods is recalling nearly two million pounds of frozen, raw, stuffed and breaded chicken products for possible Salmonella contamination, according to the Food Safety and Inspection Service.
The product was shipped to retail stores and food service locations nationwide.
The product was made between April 15, 2015 and July 10, 2015 with "best if used by" dates between July 14, 2016 and October 10, 2016, and has the establishment number "P-1358" inside the USDA mark of inspection.
The recall affects the following brands:
• Antioch Farms
• Buckley Farms
• Centrella Signature
• Chestnut Farms
• Family Favorites
• Koch Foods
• Market Day
• Oven Cravers
• Rosebud Farm
• Safeway Kitchens
FSIS says a cluster of Salmonella Enteritidis illnesses have been connected to the recalled product.
The recall comes only days after Barber Foods recalled 1.7 million pounds of chicken nationwide.
