HENRICO, VA (WWBT) -

Traffic is again moving on eastbound Interstate 64, after an accident earlier shut down both lanes of traffic in Henrico County.

All lanes were re-opened at mile marker 204 shortly after 5 p.m. after traffic was backed up more than four miles.  One lane of I-64 west was also shut down for a time, leading to a one mile backup in that direction.

As if that wasn't bad enough on I-64, another crash is slowing traffic a couple miles further down at mile marker 201, near the I-295 interchange. As of 5:50, the right shoulder is closed.

A third crash that happened earlier in the day at mile marker 219 in New Kent County has since been cleared, and traffic is now moving smoothly in that area.
