RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - The Richmond Police Department has identified the victim of a homicide that occurred last week on the city's north side.
Kempton D. Moore, 22, of the 3500 block of 1st Avenue, was pronounced dead from a gunshot wound at the scene of the shooting, a playground on 1st Avenue. Richmond Police said they believe the homicide took place early in the morning on Saturday, June 27, but investigators need the public's assistance in establishing a timeline of the hours that led up to the shooting.
