RICHMOND CO., VA (WWBT) - The National Weather Service confirms Thursday night's storms on the Northern Neck included three tornadoes.
Preliminary reports from the weather service found three weak EF-0 tornado touched down in Lancaster and Richmond counties.
Essex, Lancaster, Mecklenburg and Richmond counties were under a tornado warning Thursday evening after a trained spotter reported a tornado in the western portion of the Northern Neck. The storm knocked down trees and wires in the Naylors and Newland area.

All of the tornadoes had winds up to 80 mph. There was no structural damage caused, but some tree damage, the weather service said.
The first tornado hit between 8:45 p.m. to 9:05 p.m. near German's Corner in Richmond County and cut a 5 1/2 mile long path around 100 yards wide.
The second tornado hit in the Ivondale are between 9:28 and 9:38 p.m. It cut a path three-miles long and 50 yards wide.
The third confirmed tornado was in the Monaskon area of Lancaster County between 9:47 and 10:06 p.m. It cut a 50 yard wide path for 3.8 miles.
