RPD: Henrico man IDed as body pulled from river

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

Richmond police have confirmed the identity of a body pulled from the James River Wednesday afternoon as a man who fell from a canoe on Sunday.

According to Richmond Police, the body of Venson Vaughn, 40, was pulled from the river. Police said he is the  man who fell from a canoe on Sunday.

Vaughn, 40, lived in the 1600 block of Westhill Rd. in Henrico. The Medical Examiner's Office is investigating the exact cause of Vaughn's death, but police said foul play isn't expected.
