HANOVER, VA (WWBT) - Interstate 95 South in Hanover is back open after a crash Thursday night that caused a tractor-trailer to spill thousands of pounds of laundry detergent.
The Virginia Department of Transportation reports that the crash initially closed two lanes at mile marker 96, two miles south of Doswell. The center lane reopened at 9:45 p.m. Thursday, VDOT said. All lanes were back open Friday morning.
Virginia State Police said the crash involved a tractor trailer that overturned and two other vehicles. The truck was hauling 40,000 pounds of laundry detergent, according to State Police Sgt. Steve Vick.
No major injuries were reported.
