LOS ANGELES, CA (WWBT/AP) - Former Hermitage High School and NFL star Darren Sharper pleaded guilty on Monday to sexual assault charges in Arizona.
The former All-Pro was sentenced to nine years in prison. Prosecutors say he drugged and sexually assaulted women in four states. In addition to the Arizona plea deal, he is expected to enter a plea agreement in Los Angeles later Monday.
He's also expected to enter deals in in Nevada and Louisiana in the coming weeks. In each state, he's accused of drugging and sexually assaulting women when they were unconscious or otherwise unable to resist or consent, reports the AP.
