Fans rush to get their hands of VCU A-10 merchandise
Jenna Starosta is beating the rush ahead of Thursday's game. she's picking up more VCU gear to add to her collection.

"Definitely going to get more, You can never have enough," Starosta said.

Like other VCU fans, she's excited about the havoc the Rams are wreaking this basketball season.

"I'm just so excited with everything that happened this season and losing Briante, just the adversity that our team had to come through and pull through and win this tournament," Starosta said.

"Right after we won the game yesterday, we started already getting request for conference championship gear and March madness gear and that merchandise went up on our website last night,"said Amy Randolph, general manager at VCU's on-campus bookstore.  She says its no surprise that they typically see an up tick in VCU merchandise sales during the basketball season.

"We had about three times the amount of web orders than we have on a normal Sunday," Randolph said.

Though Jenna most likely won't be heading to Oregon for the NCAA tournament, other fans will. If you haven't gotten your tickets already you might want to hurry.  The cheapest round-trip flight out of Richmond we found was on Delta Airlines at a little over a thousand bucks at a time it trended higher during the day around $1200 to $1300 dollars.

That whopping price won't stop Starosta from cheering on her team from here at home. She's hoping that this winning streak is more than De ja Vu.

"It reminds me of the final four team and all the hype that was around when we went to the final four and that excitement I feel like is back at VCU again," she said.

The game will take place this Thursday in Portland, Oregon against Ohio State. As for the A-10 shirts and other merchandise it will be in stock at the on-campus bookstore on Tuesday.
