Richmond Police say a suspicious letter posed no threat on Richmond's south side Thursday afternoon.

The bomb squad was called to the situation on Warwick Road after the call about a threatening letter, sources said

The caller said an envelope was "suspiciously wrapped" in a car next to a building in the 6100 block of Warwick Road, not far from German School Road, according to sources.

The Richmond bomb squad was called to the scene, but found the letter posed no threat and cleared the scene..
