RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

Service has been restored to nearly all of the more than 1,300 Dominion customers in the City of Richmond who lost power on Thursday morning, according to the company's online outage center.

The outage appeared to be centered near the Westover Hills neighborhood early Thursday. By 2:30 p.m. only a few dozen homes were still impacted by the outages.

The outage in Richmond pales in comparison to the more than 10,000 customers Dominion crews are working to restore service to in Virginia Beach.
