UVA's Perrantes day-to-day with broken nose, concussion

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (WWBT) - Virginia sophomore point guard London Perrantes suffered a broken nose and mild concussion as a result of a collision with teammate Malcolm Brogdon in the second half of the Cavaliers' 51-41 win over Florida State on Sunday. Perrantes' status is day-to-day.

Perrantes would receive five stitches on his nose, while Brogdon would get three stitches to close a gash on his head.

Perrantes is averaging 5.9 points per game and ranks sixth in the ACC with 4.4 assists per contest.

Second-ranked Virginia (25-1, 13-1 ACC) plays at Wake Forest on Wednesday, with tip-off slated for 7:00pm.
