The Spiders built a 32-23 lead at halftime and then responded to a 13-2 second-half SBU run with a ferocious 14-0 run that put the Spiders ahead for good.

The Spiders shot 50 percent from the field and 44.4 percent from long range, reaching 70 points for the seventh time in conference play. As impressive as Richmond's offensive production was, the Spiders' defense was stout against a talented Bonnies squad, especially without Alonzo Nelson-Ododa for the third game.
