RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - A Midlothian woman is in the hospital and facing charges after a van crashed into the median and rolled several times on the Lee Bridge.
The woman was driving north around 11:30 a.m. Friday when the van ran into the Jersey wall, causing it to flip. She was trapped in the car and rescue crews had to cut her free from the wreckage. She was taken to VCU Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. She now faces charges or reckless driving and driving on a suspended license.
All northbound lanes were closed for hours, but have since reopened.
