HANOVER, VA (WWBT) -

Hanover authorities on Monday released an image from surveillance video showing a vehicle of interest in an unsolved August 2014 murder.

Investigators with the Hanover County Sheriff's Office determined that James Wells left the Econo Lodge on Colonel Corner Drive in Hopewell around 1 a.m. Aug. 9, 2014, headed toward Mechanicsville. Surveillance images show a vehicle that investigators are trying to find, to talk to the owner.

The car is a dark-colored four-door Cadillac with a white-striped right rear tire.
