Christy King Berry's Chocolate Chip Cheese ball
Ingredients: 1 block cream cheese (softened), 1 stick salted butter (softened), 3/4 cup confectioner's sugar, 2 packed tablespoons of brown sugar, 2 teaspoons of vanilla.
Mix all of these together until smooth, then add 3/4 cup of mini semi-sweet chocolate chips and mix well. Put in fridge for an hour or so. Form into a ball. Roll in about 1/4 cup of mini semi-sweet chocolate chips (you can add crushed walnuts or pecans to the outside, but with all the nut allergies I don't typically add nuts). Wrap in plastic wrap and put in the fridge prior to serving.
I typically serve with Graham crackers, Nilla wafers or Scooby Snacks (they make Graham crackers shaped like dog bones and kids and adults alike love them). This recipe freezes beautifully for at least 3 months!
