The University of Virginia men's basketball team moved up to the second spot in the latest AP Top 25 poll, taking two first-place votes in the process.
The Kentucky Wildcats remain in first place with the other 63 votes. Monday's poll marks the first in five weeks with the undefeated Wildcats not snagging all the first-place votes. UVA is the only other unbeaten team in the nation and jumped ahead of Duke, which lost at NC State.
VCU moved up three spots to #17 in the latest poll. The 13-3 Rams are on a eight-game winning streak with their last loss coming to UVA on December 6. The Rams were ranked #15 in a pre-season poll. Their only other losses are to #4 Villanova and ODU.
