It is a historic day for the State of Virginia. In just a few hours, Governor Bob McDonnell will be sentenced on Federal Corruption Charges. It's the first time a former Governor will ever face possible prison time. Sentencing is expected at 10 a-m at the Federal courthouse in downtown Richmond.

Update: Ruffin Mill Road is finally clear after a tractor trailer accident closes the road for 10 hours. Chesterfield Officers confirm the tractor trailer here ran off the road, down an embankment, and overturned.

Former Washington Redskins defensive back Fred Smoot has been acquitted of misdemeanor domestic assault. The judge said the evidence amounted to a case of "he said, she said" in announcing the not-guilty verdict.
