GOOCHLAND, VA (WWBT) - Now there's one more way to see the comedy that Sony Pictures Entertainment originally backed out of releasing, due to threats from North Korea. Local moviegoers can see it in theaters, on their computers, and now in their cars.
The Goochland Drive-in Theater confirmed Wednesday afternoon that it will show "The Interview," a comedy starring Seth Rogen and James Franco, beginning the week after Christmas.
The theater announced tickets for adults will cost $5, and $2 for kids. "Not that it's appropriate for kids," the theater said in a statement.
"Censorship of any kind is wrong -- especially from an outside entity. And as a small American business, we believe we have the right to show any movie we think our patrons would like to see," the statement continued.
