Police search for carjacker who robbed man at Chesterfield Costco

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) -

Chesterfield police are searching for two men who used a gun to steal a man's van at a Chesterfield Costco.

The victim was at the Costco on Mall Drive picking up a cigarette delivery around 8:45 a.m. Tuesday when a man with a handgun walked up and told him to get out of the van, according to police. When he got out a second suspect got in and drove off in the van, while the first suspect jumped into a gold Pontiac Bonneville and sped away.

The van was found two-and-a-half hours later in the 8700 block of Quaker Lane, at the Bon Air Community Association. An employee there noticed a strange car, and cigarettes nearby. Police are still looking for the two men.

The man with the gun is described by police as a black male, about 5'7" and 150 pounds. Police said he had a goatee and was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and jeans. 

The other man is described as a black male, about 5' 7" and 150 pounds. He had a beard and was wearing a long-sleeved shirt, jeans and a hat with the color orange on it. This suspect left in the van.
