RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Ticketholders for Thursday's performance at CenterStage by comedian Lewis Black should plan to leave for the show early due to a water main break in the area that's closed a stretch of 7th Street in downtown Richmond.
The city's Utility Buddy service reported that a water main break forced the city to close 7th Street from Broad to Grace streets. This closure impacts the Federal Building and CenterStage. The city plans to run a temporary water line in order to keep the theater open Thursday night, but theater parking and traffic in the area will be a problem, the city said.
Thursday and Friday commuters should plan alternate routes.
