Abduction Suspect back in Virginia

Good morning from Gray. Here's a look at some of the stories you will want to catch before you leave the house on 12 News Today.

Suspect, Delvin Barnes is back in Central Virginia. We have new images of his mug-shot from Riverside Regional Jail. This morning, we're learning more about what's next for the man charged in at least two violent abduction cases. In one case, Charles City County authorities say a 16-year-old Richmond girl was hit in the head with a shovel, stuffed into the trunk of a car and taken to a weathered mobile home where she was doused with bleach and gasoline. Thankfully, she managed to escape.

Crews are on the scene of a car crash in Henrico, which has caused power outages in several neighborhoods. It happened about 2:30am. One lane of Gayton Road is shut down between Cloister Drive and Tunbridge Drive.

Happening Today, a terror suspect is set to face a judge in a Richmond federal courtroom. He's facing 12 counts from his alleged participation in an attack on U.S. troops and Afghan Border Police in Afghanistan.
