Man shot overnight in Fulton Hill

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

Richmond police are investigating an overnight shooting in the Fulton Hill neighborhood.

One man was shot around 1 a.m. along Admiral Gravely Boulevard, not too far from Gillies Creek Park. He was rushed to the hospital with pretty serious injuries.

Officers are still investigating this shooting and haven't released a suspect description, or possible motive. No arrest has been made.

Police ask anyone with any information to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.

    The American Automobile Association says they expect nearly 1.2 million Virginians to travel this Memorial Day weekend, which is up 5 percent from last year. Not even gas prices that are 50 cents higher than last year are stopping the wave of travelers.
