Fourth suspect arraigned in jewelry store robbery, murder

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

The fourth suspect in a jewelry store robbery that left one person dead was arraigned on Wednesday.

Jesse Edmond was arraigned on several charges: first degree murder; two counts of robbery; use of a firearm in commission of a felony; use of firearm, second offense; possession/transportation of a gun by a violent felon. He was appointed an attorney.

Edmond is one of four suspects arrested after a robbery at Victoria Jewelers at 309 East Broad St. on May 5. Muhammad H. Baig, 29, was found shot and killed.

Edmond's next hearing date will be set on September 2.
