Sam's Club Chicken Caesar Salad Kits recalled for possible Listeria contamination

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

APPA Fine Foods is recalling approximately 92,657 pounds of chicken Caesar salad kits due to possible Listeria contamination, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

The recall is for 11oz. clear plastic containers and 6.5-lb. boxes labeled, "APPA Fine Foods/Sam's Club Daily Chef CHICKEN CAESAR SALAD KIT."

There have been no reports of illness to date. The bacteria was found during testing by the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
