RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

Richmond police arrested a person of interest in connection with the shooting death of a Chesterfield man at a Midlothian Turnpike motel.

Police have identified the victim of Saturday night's homicide as Chong Kyu Han, a 58-year-old Chesterfield man.

Detectives found Han shot to death around 11:34 p.m. Saturday at the Richmond Inn, in the 6300 block of Midlothian Turnpike. Within 24 hours, detectives arrested Arthur L. Moore, 27, as a person of interest in the case. He is charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Police now believe Han was being robbed when he was killed.

According to a hotel employee, there are armed security guards at the hotel and surveillance cameras. He says most of the people at the Richmond Inn are longtime residents. He says it doesn't appear the at this time that the victim has any connection to the hotel.

Detectives are still asking anyone with any information about this crime to call Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000.
