The search continues for several people believed to be involved in a double shooting. It happened in the 45 hundred block Midlothian Turnpike on Richmond's Southside. Two people are recovering in the hospital.
We've just learned that foul play is *not* suspected in connection in the death of a retired Master Trooper. T. E. Hudson retired in January after 26 years with Virginia State Police. Hudson was found dead of an apparent gunshot wound inside of a Mathews County Camper. The cause of his death is still under investigation.
Just over three weeks before thousands of students return to class, Richmond Public Schools is announcing it needs $29 million! The money is needed to make repairs to buildings and equipment. In an interview with our Mike Valerio, Superintendent Dr. Dana Bedden said it's unclear where that money would come from.
