NEWPORT NEWS, VA (WWBT) -

A computer-generated photograph helped identify a deceased man found in Newport News. Now the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is hoping to use the same technology to identify other deceased individuals found in Central and Eastern Virginia between 1981 and 2003.

The office has created several pictures using available evidence to show how the unidentified people may have looked like before they died. The pictures have been entered into the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUS).

If you can help identify any of the other cases, call:

In Norfolk, OCME Investigator Paul Yoakam, 757-683-8366, or

In the Richmond area, OCME Investigators Bridget Kinnier, 804-786-6056, or Lara Frame-Newell, 804-786-3174.
