RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

A third person has pleaded guilty in a brutal Richmond beating death.

Yvette Hairston pleaded guilty to concealing the dead body of Samantha Myers. She was sentenced to five years in prison, with all but five months suspended. Prosecutors chose not to pursue a charge of destroying evidence at this time.

Jamarr Hursey pleaded guilty on Friday to second-degree murder in the death of Myers. The deal reduced charges against him from first-degree murder and calls for him to spend 17 years in prison.

Hairston's daughter, Selena, also pleaded guilty to a second-degree murder charge and will spend 17 years in prison. She was dating Hursey at the time and confessed she and Hursey bludgeoned Myers to death with a liquor bottle and hammer, then dumped her body.

Myers' body was spotted by a passerby weeks later in a ravine not far from McGuire VA Medical Center, but police couldn't identify her at the time. So, they released pictures of Myers' tattoos and a sketch of her face which led to new tips.
