Richmond man shot in foot after argument

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

Richmond police say a man shot in a residential area may have been arguing with the suspect.

The shooting happened outside in the 1400 block of Lynhaven Avenue, and was called in just before 8:00 p.m. The victim, 21, was shot in the foot, and his injuries are not life-threatening, police said 

According to authorities, it appears the shooting was prompted by an argument. Police are following up on leads to identify a person of interest in the case.
