Waitress touched dirty dishes and customer drinks

Would you want your drink glass touched by someone who just touched dirty dishes? Health inspectors don't want that to happen, either.

At Game On Sports Bar & Grill in Westchester Commons in Chesterfield, the inspector noted a waitress brought back dirty dishes and handled customer drinks without washing her hands in between. It was one of seven critical violations. The inspector also strongly recommended monthly pest control after noting a few flies. Problems were corrected during the inspection. Game On had one critical on the follow-up inspection, which was also fixed.

The inspection report for El Amancer Latino Market at 8410 Staples Mill Road in Henrico says employees were not properly trained in food safety for their assigned duties. It had 4 critical violations. And after two follow-up inspections, the inspector wrote that employees still needed more training. The problem was finally corrected by the third follow-up inspection.

Sticky Rice at 2232 West Main Street in Richmond had 5 critical violations, including that calamari, burger patty, crab cake, noodles and salmon were not being kept cold enough. But the report notes that a refrigeration technician was already on site to make repairs during the inspection. Other violations were corrected before the inspector left.
