RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

A thief stole six copper planters worth around $15,000 from the Jefferson Hotel last week, according to Richmond Police.

Detectives say the man stole the planters from the hotel between Wednesday afternoon and Thursday evening.

Richmond police released a surveillance photo of a man detectives would like to speak with in the case.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the man's identity to call Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000.
