Parts of Virginia Beach are in shambles, after a storm blows through; possibly a tornado. The National Weather Service determined it was not a tornado that touched down in Southampton County. Nearly a dozen people were sent to the hospital with storm-related injuries.
Happening today-- we could learn more about a Chesterfield mom missing for about a month. Zulma Pabon was reported missing when she didn't show up for work and has not been seen since. Chesterfield police will hold a news conference about her disappearance.
Just how safe is the North Anna Nuclear power plant? We're expected to get some further insight today. FEMA will show the preliminary results of a study held earlier this week, on how the plant would respond in cases of emergency. Those findings will be presented at a public meeting this morning at 10:30 at the Richmond Marriott West in Glen Allen.
