Chesterfield house fire ruled arson

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) -

Chesterfield fire authorities say a fire Tuesday in a home on Starview Lane was started deliberately.

The fire broke out at 3:20 p.m. on July 8 in a home at 1114 Starview Lane. Fire crews arrived to find a two-story house with heavy fire coming from the rear of the home. Authorities said it took 35 minutes to get the fire under control. There were no injuries.

The Chesterfield County Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded Tuesday afternoon, July 8, at 3:19 p.m. to 1114 Starview Lane for the report of a structure fire. Fire crews arrived to find a two –story house with heavy fire coming from the rear of the home. It took crews approximately 35 minutes to get the fire under control. There were no injuries.
