World Cup watch parties Tuesday

The Richmond Kickers are proud to partner with Baja Bean Co., Bellytimber Tavern, Gus' Bar & Grill, Home Team Grill, Penny Lane Pub, Sticky Rice and F.W. Sullivan's in the Fan to host official Viewing Parties for the USA versus Belgium 2014 FIFA World Cup™ Round of 16 game on Tuesday, July 1.  Following the success of the club's downtown Viewing Party last weekend, all locations will feature high definition screens and World Cup Happy Hour specials when the parties officially begin at 3:00 p.m. with kickoff slated for 4:00 p.m.

After cheering on Team USA, the World Cup Fever continues at City Stadium when the Kickers host the Mexican Olympic Team at 7:30 p.m.  Viewing Party attendees will be offered specially discounted tickets in Section O to experience the electric atmosphere of a World Cup-style event here in RVA.

Offering free shuttle service from the Fan to City Stadium, the Kickers have partnered with The Hop RVA to provide non-stop service running 6:00-10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, with live GPS tracking available at TheHopRVA.com.  Through the collaborate efforts of Napoleon Taxi and Nightlife Virginia, The Hop RVA offers late-night transportation with a mission to heighten awareness of responsible alcohol consumption and provide a platform for party-goers to avoid driving.  The complimentary service is made possible through the generous support of donors and sponsors.  For more information about becoming a sponsor, visit TheHopRVA.com or like them on Facebook.com/thehoprva.

Baja Bean, located at 1520 W. Main Street, will feature 10 TVs in five viewing areas, including two 50" TVs outdoors on the Fan's largest patio.  Bellytimber Tavern, located at 1501 W. Main Street in the Fan and the club's post-game party spot, Postbellum, located at 1323 W. Main Street will have the Kickers official craft beer, Kick It Hunny, on tap and Home Team Grill, located at 1630 W. Main Street will continue to offer World Cup drink specials.

Recognized as one of Richmond's Best by Style Weekly, Richmond Magazine and Virginia Living, F.W. Sullivan's in the Fan is located at 2401 W. Main Street and features a high-definition screen on the outdoor patio while Sticky Rice, located at 2232 W. Main Street guarantees an unconventional crowd while showcasing the country's biggest game on the big screen.

Join the American Outlaws Richmond at Gus' Bar & Grill, located at 2701 W. Broad Street, while RVA's official British pub, Penny Lane, at 421 E. Franklin Street, will also offer high-definition screens, Happy Hour specials and an authentic atmosphere to cheer on Team USA.
