Hanover doctor in Menzies case found not guilty of contempt

HANOVER, VA (WWBT) -

 

The Hanover doctor accused of hitting and killing a runner earlier this year has been found not guilty of contempt.

Dr. Michael Carlson, who is accused of striking Meg Menzies, was found not guilty of tampering with his alcohol monitoring bracelet.

The judge told Carlson to wear the SCRAM bracelet after the deadly crash in January.

Carlson is back in court in July.
