Barbershop closed after alleged drug-dealing owner didn't have a license

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

We have new information about an alleged heroin-dealing barber in Richmond. City officials now say, 45-year-old Tony Dunaway was running his shop without a business license.

Detectives were investigating if the stylists at Yonnie's Barber Shop in Fulton Hill had their beauty licenses after one stylist allegedly injured a young girl.

We first told you about Dunaway on Monday after police revealed the barbershop owner was allegedly dealing heroin in the back room of his shop.

The shop is now closed and Dunaway remains behind bars but Lt. Dan Minton with Richmond police says, the investigation will continue.
