Babyface, Boz Scaggs and more headline Richmond Jazz Festival

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Boz Scaggs, Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds and many others are coming to Maymont for the 5th annual Richmond Jazz Festival, organizers announced Wednesday.

The festival has quickly grown to become one of the largest on the East Coast, bringing world-renowned artists alongside local and regional talent.

This year's edition will be held August 9 - 10, once again at Maymont with wine tastings, a bistro area, vendors and an artist meet and greet area.

Blind Boys of Alabama and the Sean Jones Quartet will kick off the festival on August 8 at the Hippodrome Theater. Two other free shows will also be held at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts on Hardywood Park Craft Brewery on August 7 as part of the festival.

Tickets are now on sale Wednesday, with Saturday and Sunday passes selling for $70 each through June 15. Weekend passes are $130.
