Man attacked, robbed in Richmond home invasion

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

Police are looking for three suspects they say beat and robbed a man at gunpoint during an armed home invasion.

 

It happened around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 1500 block of Blair Street near South Harrison Street in Richmond.

Officers said the victim answered the door and the three suspects burst in. One of them hit the victim before making off with cash. The victim is expected to be okay.

Right now police are looking for a White Chevy Impala in connection with the crime.

    The American Automobile Association says they expect nearly 1.2 million Virginians to travel this Memorial Day weekend, which is up 5 percent from last year. Not even gas prices that are 50 cents higher than last year are stopping the wave of travelers.
