Richmond Police investigate 3 overnight robberies

Richmond Police are trying to find the suspects in three overnight robberies.

Police say one victim was knocked off of his crutches. It happened around midnight in the 900 block of Sheppard Street near Broad. No weapons were displayed, and there's no word on just what was stolen. The victim is expected to be okay.

Police say two women were robbed at gunpoint around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday. This happened near the intersection of 21st and Lee streets. The two suspects in this case were not wearing shirts and were last seen in a beige car. The victims were not hurt.

The third one happened around 2 a.m. in the 2300 block of Semmes Avenue. Police say the victim was held up at gunpoint. He then ran to a nearby Fas Mart for help. No one was hurt during the robbery.

Police are looking for two suspects and a gold Chrysler in connection with the robbery. At this point, they don't believe the robberies are connected.
