Severe weather aftermath

Good morning from Gray. Here's a look at some of the stories you will want to catch before you leave the house on 12 News Today.

This morning, we're still feeling the impact of last night's storm--where 60 mile an hour winds topple power-lines, leaving thousands in the dark. People living in one of the hardest hit areas--Whitcomb Court in rRchmond-- may be have difficult time getting to work this morning, with flooded streets are making life difficult.

Last night's storms have caused at one school system in our area to close for the day. Prince George County Schools will be closed today. Most of the schools don't have electricity.

When we hear about any more closings, we'll pass them on to you.

We are also tracking other news of the day. Today, the former Louisa wrestling coach facing assault charges involving two teenage girls is due in court. 41-year-old Dean Hall faces two counts misdemeanor assault and battery.  Arrest warrants allege two separate cases involving 17-year-old girls, in incidents dating to early April and May.
