Happy Mother's Day!! You might be asking yourself why I am doing a Mother's Day salute a week after Mother's Day and that would be a fair question. I was traveling last week and didn't get a chance to do my annual Mother's Day salute and that was the wrong move.
I certainly feel that Mother's Day is one of the most important days of the year, but it's not good enough to think it, you must show it. I know a guy who didn't get that memo this year and may have fallen a bit short in the Mother's Day salute column.
Sometimes your wife, mother or grandmother can be such super women that you may unintentionally begin to take them for granted. And I say unintentionally because many times that's what it is. So for all of you who never take mothers in your life for granted I salute you. For those that may come up a little short, and particularly on Mother's Day, there are 364 additional days to get it right.
As super star basketball player Kevin Durant said, the Moms are the real MVPs.
The moral of this story is that every day should be Mother's Day!
