A long-term, holistic transportation plan is needed to create jobs, promote long-term economic development and build a foundation for future growth in communities and the nation.
"We applaud the efforts of Environment and Public Works Committee Chairman Boxer (D-CA), Ranking Member Vitter (R-LA), Transportation and Infrastructure Subcommittee Chairman Carper (D-DE) and subcommittee Ranking Member John Barrasso (R-WY). We will continue to work with the Administration and Congress to enact a long-term bill that has dedicated funding and provides local governments with capital and input into decisions affecting local communities."
