Spa owner arrested for prostitution, other massage parlors under investigation

HENRICO, VA (WWBT) - Henrico police have arrested the owner of a West End spa on charges of unlawful massage and prostitution. 34-year-old Nari Armin Navarrette and her alleged employee 22-year-old Hsolg Luna Espinal were taken by police on Thursday.

According to Henrico prosecutors, the owner of Luna Maya Spa and her employees were posting ads on While the ads were discreet, they were suspicious enough to start an investigation.

Now, Henrico police say they have evidence that the masseuses were offering manual and oral stimulation to clients.

One ad says, "I provide the table, you provide your body." Another says, "allow in our hands quiet, relaxation and satisfaction that you have at the end."

The spa has been shut down.

The Office of the Henrico Commonwealth's Attorney tells NBC12, the Luna Maya massage parlor was part of an investigation to crack down on prostitution. Currently, four spas are being watched for illegal activity.

While neither police nor prosecutors would give us the name or locations of the other massage parlors being investigated, they say, more arrests should be forthcoming.
