New this morning, Richmond police are looking for a hit-and-run driver. It happened in the 2-Thousand Block of Rose Avenue. That's not too far from Battery Park. A woman told police a car slammed into her parked car and then took off.
Breaking: Chesterfield Police are on the scene of an armed robbery at a Shell gas station. It happened just after 3:00 this morning in the 23-Hundred Block of Willis Road.
Also, a plan is in the works to make 8-year-old Marty Cobb a nationally recognized hero-- after he died saving his older sister. We also expect the family to release details on funeral arrangements soon.
Happening now -- investigators are trying to figure out what killed one of The Richmond Metro Zoo's beloved Cheetah cubs. Zoo officials tell us the cub, known as 'Hanna' -- was found dead this weekend, but had been acting fine the day before. Tissue and other samples have been sent to a lab for testing.
