RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - A tornado watch continues for much of Central Virginia through 7 p.m.
Sussex, Brunswick and Greensville counties were all under warnings earlier Wednesday. Those have since expired.

The flash flood watch is in effect for most of Central Virginia through Thursday morning, meaning conditions are favorable for the development of flash flooding.

The cold front associated with the large storm system that has controlled weather over the East since Monday will not pass east of Virginia until Thursday afternoon. More showers will therefore be possible through at least late morning Thursday, mostly over eastern Virginia.
