Breaking news overnight: Richmond police are investigating a deadly shooting. Two men were shot on the city's Southside early this morning. It happened on Montecrest Avenue. One of the men was pronounced dead at the scene--the other was taken to VCU Medical Center--and is expected to be okay.
More weather devastation: At least nine people in the South were killed Monday, bringing the overall number of dead from two days of severe weather to at least 26. The National Weather Service issued watches and warnings for more tornadoes throughout the night. We are tracking the system and will let you know what we can expect in our area.
