PETERSBURG, VA (WWBT) - Search warrants indicate at least two of the victims in a deadly Petersburg house fire may have been stabbed.

Detectives searched the South Valor Street house of Alexander Hill Jr. in Petersburg Saturday, hours after the fire broke out. In the warrant, the officers said in addition to heavy fire damage inside the home in the 700 block of Harding Street, they found the four victims. Two of the victims suffered injuries consistent with puncture wounds and found a large knife with red stains at the scene, the warrants said. The warrants did not disclose which of the victims suffered the injuries.

A family spokesperson identified the victims as Pauline Wilkins, her daughter Vicki Ansar, Ansar's daughter Tanique "Missy" Chavis and her two year old son, Deldari Chavis.

The victims are related to a Petersburg Assistant Fire Marshal, who has now recused himself from the investigation.

Hill's ex-girlfriend, Vivian Chavis, filed a protective order against Hill weeks ago, but it was only granted by a judge Monday.

Hill is now considered a person of interest and is the subject of an international search following the deadly weekend fire. The U.S. Marshals Office is also now involved in the case.

Hill is currently wanted for violating a protective order, providing false information to police, and assault. Petersburg Police said Hill should be considered armed and dangerous.

According to investigators, Hill has connections to Richmond, Newport News, Virginia Beach, and Trinidad.

Anyone with information about Hill's whereabouts should call Crime Solvers at (804) 861-1212.

No word yet from the Medical Examiner's office on the exact cause of death for those four people. Family members say they can't make funeral arrangements until the bodies are released. Fire crews are still investigating the cause of the fire.

Ashley Monfort is looking into the court documents and will have more on the case on 12News at 5.
