Boston authorities investigating after several backpacks found near finish line

BOSTON, MA (WWBT) - Boylston St. is closed in Boston while police inspect several unattended bags near the marathon finish line.

According to NBC reporter Jay Gray, a barefoot man with his face painted was removed from the scene. Video from NBC affiliate WHDH shows a man walking barefoot in a black veil in the street shouting "Boston strong!"

There are reports of two unattended backpacks.

A bomb squad is gearing up in Copley Square to check out the bags.
