Posted: Updated:
ORANGE, VA (WWBT) -

Friends, family, and total strangers coming together Saturday to raise money to help with a Spotsylvania store clerk's recovery following a shooting back in March.

Kelly Wood survived after being shot twice in the head while working at the Fas Mart on Brock Road. Woods suffered a broken jaw, shattered cheek, and intense swelling and will have to  undergo multiple reconstructive surgeries.

So the community of Orange is holding "Wishes for Kelly" out at the Locust Grove Town Center out on Constitution Highway Saturday until 4 p.m. to help out the family.

Meanwhile, the search continues for the man responsible for this crime. If you recognize the suspect who shot Kelly Wood, or know anything about this case, call the Spotsylvania Sheriff's Office at 540-582-7115 or Crime Solvers at 540-582-5822.
