Breaking overnight--a possible break in the accidental shooting death of a Chesterfield boy. Police have a person of interest in custody. Brendon Mackey was shot in the head by a random bullet while on his way to watch fireworks in Brandermill back on July 4th, 2013.
We spoke to Mackey's father--who confirmed police have a person of interest in custody and are running tests on a gun.
Also, an early morning accident could affect your morning commute. A single car crash has shut down two southbound lanes of Parham Road. It happened about 2:30a.m. near Parham Road Baptist Church. A driver ran into a tree, flipped over and landed in someone's yard.
Happening today--the U.S. Navy will begin its underwater search for the black boxes from missing Malaysian Flight 370.
Also, we're learning more this morning about the Fort Hood Shooter and what could have possibly sparked this act of violence. This morning--police confirm that shooter bought his gun from the same local store where Major Nidal Hasan bought his gun before the 2009 shooting.
